GCAAR recognizes the outstanding contributions of our affiliate members. Affiliate Emeritus status is open to any affiliate member who has held an affiliate membership with GCAAR* for 40 or more years and has proof of at least one year of service on a committee with GCAAR*.
*Including Montgomery County Board of REALTORS®, Montgomery County Association of REALTORS®, and/or Washington, D.C. Association of REALTORS®
Each year, the application process opens in May. Applications are due to GCAAR by July 31 preceding the fall billing cycle. Applications are reviewed in August and applicants will be notified if they have been granted GCAAR Affiliate Emeritus status in early September.
If approved, local GCAAR dues will be waived as long as you maintain an active affiliate membership through GCAAR.
