Number of Millennials Drops in Washington

A new study shows millennials like living and working in D.C., but many don’t think they can afford to stay here long-term. That’s according to findings from American University’s Kogod School of Business’ “Millennial Index.”

Head researcher Dawn Leijon said that for millennials, living in D.C. has its perks, like diversity and good jobs. But housing costs and traffic make settling down and starting families more difficult. Read more
