The Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR), one of the largest local REALTOR® associations in the United States, represents more than 12,000 agents and industry professionals in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. We are dedicated to advancing the residential real estate industry and providing outstanding value and exceptional service to our members and communities.

Note that some sponsorships are available to GCAAR members only, while non-members may sponsor other events with a surcharge. January 30, 2023: Virtual Economic Outlook

GCAAR welcomes NAR's Chief Economist & Senior Vice President of Research Lawrence Yun and Vice President of Demographics and Behavioral Insights Jessica Lautz for a virtual economic forecast of the real estate market in 2023 and a recap of buyer and seller behavior in 2022.


February 23, 2023: GCAAR Recognition Awards

The GCAAR Recognition Awards celebrate the individual and teams of REALTORS® who have achieved significant milestones in the past year. Sponsorships available only to GCAAR members.

 

June 5-9, 2023: REALTOR® Fest

GCAAR offers dozens of continuing education classes and professional development opportunities during our signature week-long event, REALTOR® Fest. This event generally attracts close to 1,000 REALTORS® licensed in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia.

Year-round: New Member Orientation

GCAAR offers New Member Orientation for GCAAR REALTOR® members who have joined our association within the past six months. While the classes are being held virtually right now, typically they are held in-person at our Rockville or D.C. office, giving you the opportunity to network with Maryland, D.C. and Virginia REALTORS®. Each orientation class has 50+ new REALTORS® who are eager to succeed in the real estate industry.

Year-round: Profession Sessions

GCAAR launched Profession Sessions – informal professional development webinars and trainings – to provide our members with valuable career-building content. Most of these virtual sessions attract around 30+ GCAAR REALTOR® members. We invite one sponsor per Profession Session; sponsorships are available only to GCAAR affiliate members.
