GCAAR is excited to introduce the Profession Sessions! While you are practicing "Safer at Home," join us for virtual sessions designed to help you hone your craft, earn a new certification or designation, and get answers to questions you may not have even known you had. The Profession Sessions is a series of webinars, events and classes offered virtually through the month of May and beyond, including a few CE classes for DC and Virginia. Our Class and Events Calendar provides the current list of subjects, dates and times. Be sure to set a reminder to check back weekly as new offerings will be added throughout the month!
Not sure how to join a videoconference in Zoom or GoToMeeting? Or are you unsure about how to use the meeting tools after you join? Here are some tutorials to help make your videoconferencing experience more seamless.
Given the recent executive orders in both Maryland and DC temporarily ceasing all non-essential business activities, GCAAR will continue to postpone its in-person classes and events until the orders are lifted. Classes are postponed in both our Rockville and Washington, DC offices.
During his news conference on March 12, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan indicated he has enacted an executive order allowing for the extension of all expiration dates for professional licenses issued by Maryland state agencies until the 30th day after the Maryland state of emergency ends. If you have questions regarding your real estate license expiration date, or if you would like to request an extension, please contact the Maryland Real Estate Commission (MREC) directly.
