GCAAR launches new instructor application process

Effective January 2021, GCAAR implemented a new application and recertification process to ensure we regularly – and thoroughly – evaluate the credentials of our instructors and the quality of our course materials. This further allows all existing and prospective instructors to have an equal opportunity to share their knowledge and teach for GCAAR.  

All instructors, including GCAAR’s current instructors, must apply using the approved application, share an up to 90-second video of themselves teaching on a desired topic, and meet the following criteria:

• Be a GCAAR member in good standing.
  
• Have three to five years of experience, either:
  
  • as an active, licensed REALTOR® (for brokers and salespersons), OR 
  • in a real estate-related industry (for affiliate members).
    
• Have a minimum of three years of training or teaching experience.
  
• Demonstrate competency in teaching their identified subject matter.
  

The GCAAR Education Advisory Group will review the applications and notify all applicants of their selection status.
