GCAAR launches new instructor application process

Effective in January, GCAAR is implementing a new, bi-annual application and recertification process to ensure we regularly – and thoroughly – evaluate the credentials of our instructors and the quality of our course materials. This will also allow for all existing and prospective instructors to have an equal opportunity to share their knowledge and teach for GCAAR.

All instructors, including GCAAR’s current instructors, must apply using the approved application, share an up to 90-second video of themselves teaching on a desired topic, and meet the following criteria:

  • Be a GCAAR member in good standing.
  • Have three to five years of experience, either:
    • as an active, licensed REALTOR® (for brokers and salespersons), OR
    • in a real estate-related industry (for affiliate members).
  • Have a minimum of three years of training or teaching experience.
  • Be competent in teaching their identified subject matter.

The GCAAR Presidential Advisory Group will review the applications and notify all applicants of their selection status.
