***This class will be offered virtually. It will meet over two days from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm What qualifies as a "smart home," and how do you leverage a smart home's functions and features in your marketing strategy? In this course participants will identify what is needed for a house to be considered a smart home, assess the value of smart home features and apply promotional ideas to make a house stand out as a smart home. The course will address security issues when selling/buying smart home technologies and discuss the moral, ethical and legal obligations that come with showing homes with smart technologies. You will develop a smart home selling tool kit and a smart home transition checklist. This course can be taken can be taken individually to meet CRS requirements or as part of the new RRC Smart Home Certification program .
