Richard "Dick" Stoner

Meet Dick.

Dick Stoner is a lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C. region and has lived in Rockville, MD since 1980. He is broker/owner of Reist Corporation and represents independent brokers on GCAAR’s Board of Directors.  

Licensed since 1995, Dick specializes in finance and banking, property management, leasing, sales and representation of tenants and landlords on many types of transactions. He has been involved with environmental programs, mainly for agricultural land in Maryland and Virginia, and has implemented best practices on farmland by installing stream buffers and tree-planting projects.   

Dick is passionate about historic land preservation, commercial real estate and technology advancements in the industry, with an added interest in public policy. He previously served for five years on GCAAR’s Public Policy Committee, with two as committee chair, and served another three years on Maryland REALTORS®’ Legislative Committee.  

As an independent broker, Dick is committed to monitoring and working to improve the business climate within which we all operate. He enjoys helping people reach their goals, whether they involve selling, purchasing, leasing or managing properties.
