Dick Stoner is a lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C. metro area and has lived in Montgomery County in Rockville, Maryland, since 1980. He is broker/owner of Reist Corporation and represents the independent brokers on the current GCAAR Board of Directors.
He is a 25-year REALTOR® with experience in finance and banking, as well as property management, leasing, sales and representation of tenants and landlords on many types of transactions. He has been involved with environmental programs, mainly involving agricultural land in Maryland and Virginia, and has implemented "best practices" on farmland by installing stream buffers and tree-planting projects.
Dick has represented clients on the sale and leasing of commercial buildings and serves on Maryland REALTORS®’ Commercial Alliance Committee, in addition to working on residential transactions. Dick’s interest in public policy, gained from work on national banking and savings and loan industry changes, led him to volunteer for GCAAR’s Public Policy Committee, where served for five years, two as committee chair.
He enjoys helping people reach their goals, whether they involve selling, purchasing, leasing or managing properties.
Dick is part of the 2019-20 graduating class of the Leadership Program at Maryland REALTORS®.
