The Washington, DC Association of REALTORS® (WDCAR) is proud to honor W. David Bevirt, Cassidy & Pinkard, as its 2004 REALTOR® of the Year.
Bevirt has been involved in numerous industry events on behalf of GWCAR, NAIOP and Commercial Property News. He is the Immediate Past GWCAR President, is a member of the WDCAR Board of Directors and the Greater Washington Board of Trade, and has been a trustee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for 12 years. He is also a recipient of Cassidy & Pinkard’s Patrick J. Cassidy Memorial Tribute.
Demonstrating his work ethic, last year Bevirt’s leasing volume was about $100 million.
WDCAR President Scott Johnston, Spaulding & Slye Colliers International, has known Bevirt for more than 15 years. He said Bevirt is more than deserving of the award—the highest a REALTOR® association can bestow on a member.
"His dedication to the associations and the causes of both commercial and residential agents is demonstrated by his participation on the WDCAR Board and his long-time commitment to GWCAR," Johnston said.
"He is an accomplished broker in the District and somebody that people within the industry respect and admire."
Bevirt will be recognized along with other state association* REALTORS® of the year at the 2004 REALTORS® Conference & Expo in Orlando on November 6.
*WDCAR is considered a state association; GCAAR is a local association. The WDCAR REALTOR® of the Year is selected from the GCAAR REALTOR® of the Year and the Greater Washington Commercial Association of REALTORS®’ (GWCAR) REALTOR® of the Year.
