Move over DIY - REALTORS® are here and ready to work! This Saturday, April 29, about 30 REALTORS® from the Greater Capital Area will help two low-income homeowners in DC and Montgomery County repair their houses as part of the national Rebuilding Together Project Day (formerly known as Christmas in April). Volunteers will do everything from sealing wall cracks and drains, to replacing doors and painting interior walls, as part of the Association's continued commitment to improving the community through its GCAAR Cares initiative.
"GCAAR has supported Rebuilding Together for many years now," said Kristin Gerlach, Chair of the Community Service Committee that is organizing GCAAR's involvement in Project Day. "It's such a wonderful organization and fills a need in the communities REALTORS® serve."
To visit one of GCAAR's houses on Project Day, contact Amy Ritsko-Warren, 301.590.8764 or awarren@gcaar.com for the home address.
