GCAAR Teams With Rebuilding Together to Help Local Homeowners
Over 50 GCAAR volunteers turned out last Saturday to join Rebuilding Together and help two local families make their homes safer and more comfortable. The latest GCAAR Cares project helped to maintain the property of two homeowners, one in Germantown and one in DC. The volunteers chipped in to help with everything from replacing a door to patching a wall, and of course, lots and lots of painting.
GCAAR would like to thank the house captains, Rocky Banks and Alan Beal, who coordinated the work of the volunteers, and also members of the American Society of Home Inspectors, who helped out with plumbing and electrical work on the DC house. We would also like to thank all of the GCAAR members who volunteered their time to show how REALTORS® can be a positive force in the local community.
