From 495:

  • Take Georgia Avenue/Route 97 south (Exit 31) towards Silver Spring
  • After approx. 1 mi, turn left on Spring Street
  • Shortly after turning you will see a public parking garage on your right (behind The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission office, at the corner of Spring Street and Georgia Avenue)

From Washington, DC:

  • Go north on 16th Street, passing Walter Reed Army Medical Center
  • Bear right on Alaska Avenue NW until it ends at Georgia Avenue at the District line
  • Bear left on Georgia Avenue
  • Continue north, passing Colesville Road and Cameron Street
  • Turn right on Spring Street
  • Shortly after turning you will see a public parking garage on your right (behind The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission office, at the corner of Spring Street and Georgia Avenue)

Spring Street Public Parking Garage

Park in the long-term parking areas. The meters for long-term parking are silver and you will need $4 in quarters to park all day. 8757 is connected to a Crowne Plaza.

Either:

  • Walk up the driveway to the north of the Crowne Plaza and turn left on Georgia Avenue to 8757.
  • Or walk through the Crowne Plaza to the front of the building. (Enter the back of the hotel through glass doors marked "Hotel Entrance.") Turn left on Georgia Avenue to 8757.

Metro:

Red Line: Silver Spring

  • Exit the station toward downtown Silver Spring
  • Turn left onto Second Ave. (crossing Colesville Road if necessary)
  • At the light, turn right onto Cameron Street and continue to light
  • Turn left after crossing Georgia Avenue
  • Building is ½ block in on right

Alexandria/Arlington:

  • Take George Washington Parkway north
  • Exit on I-395 north to Washington
  • Follow signs to U.S. Capitol
  • At tunnel, take first exit, U.S. Capitol/D Street NW
  • Proceed to first light (D Street), and turn right
  • Proceed to second traffic light
  • Building is on the left

I-66 & Points South:

  • Follow I-66 East to Washington, crossing the Roosevelt Bridge
  • Follow signs to Constitution Avenue toward the U.S. Capitol, proceeding approximately 2.5 miles
  • Turn left onto Louisiana Avenue NW
  • At the third light, turn left on New Jersey Ave
  • Building is on the left

Driving from Maryland:

From 495:

  • Take GW Parkway south
  • Follow directions from Alexandria/Arlington

From Silver Spring or points Northwest:

  • Take Georgia Avenue south
  • Turn left onto Missouri Avenue NW
  • Turn right at N. Capitol Street NW
  • Turn right onto E Street NW
  • Turn left onto New Jersey Ave. NW
  • Building is on the right

Driving from other parts of DC:

From U Street NW

  • Travel on U Street NW going east (U Street becomes Florida Avenue NW)
  • Turn right onto N. Capitol Street NW
  • Turn right onto E Street NW
  • Turn left onto New Jersey Ave
  • Building is on the right

From Pennsylvania Ave NW

  • Travel on Pennsylvania Avenue NW going east
  • Turn left onto Louisiana Avenue NW and proceed a few blocks north
